Right now, across Newcastle and the Hunter, there is a severe shortage of foster carers for children and young people in need.

As a result, there are dozens of children living in short-term or emergency placements with no foster carers available to care for them.

As a local community, we need your help to spread the word and encourage people to provide these children with a loving, safe home for life. It might be for a few days a month or more long-term. Any level of support will make a difference.
